1.
Solicit Request For Proposal grant
requests from local arts and community groups;
grants committee will review and present
for board’s approval.
2.
Identify and assist eligible non-profit
groups in receiving grant funds from the
West Virginia Division of Culture and History
and the National Endowment for the Arts, with
approval from the West Virginia Commission on
the Arts.
3.
Maintain a development committee to increase
memberships and business support.
4.
Maintain a web site with Foundation information,
membership and grant forms, and an arts calendar.
5.
Support the Board of Education in development of arts
education and activities including an Artist in Residence
program.
6.
Provide grant writing education to community arts groups.
7.
Encourage collaboration with other
arts groups by sharing information.
